AU PAIR Amsterdam is an au pair agency, based in Amsterdam, which takes the greatest care in selecting the right candidate for your family situation. As we work with the top au-pair agencies in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Colombia, South Africa and Peru (more countries in the future), our candidates are screened by professionals


FOUNDER

AU PAIR Amsterdam was established by Li-iy Lu. - Li-iy in addition to her experience with au pairs for her children, comes from the financial and hospitality services sector – that together with her Asian and multicultural back ground is able to easily communicate with different cultures.

Au Pair service
In addition to programme A there is an au pair search service, including lanquage, childcare reference, medical and psychometric testing in their home country. All references and certificates will be checked.

We also can help arrange health and liability insurances as well as travel arrangements.


AU PAIR

Au pairs are young foreign nationals who provide help at home (childcare and light housework) , aged 18- 26 years, who come to the Netherlands as part of a cultural exchange programme. Maximum stay is one year. Au pairs always live in. Au pairs are on duty for up to 30 hours per week in return for board and lodging plus pocket money. Pocket money is between € 300 -€ 340 per month.


HOST FAMILY

The great care we take to select our au-pairs extends to our host families. The goal of AU PAIR Amsterdam is to help the au pair to find a caring family in which she will be treated with respect. We verify that Families that participate meet this standard in order to participate to the Au Pair Programme.

It is important that families realise that the role of a host-family is to help facilitate a cultural exchange. The au pair comes from a different culture and they will require extra help and guidance while they learn about their new Country and Family.

  1. Interview
    After an interview at your home you will receive confirmation and registration of your family. AU PAIR Amsterdam will write your family profile. and help you to make the most of your profile, ensuring that all of your priorities are reflected to allow us to introduce you to selected candidates that fit your family profile.

  2. Search for candidate
    After your approval we will contact foreign partners to introduce your family.

  3. AU PAIR Amsterdam will provide up to 4 Au Pair profiles. If you are interested in a specific profile, you will be provided with contact details for this Au Pairs to help you finalise your choice.

  4. When the match is made, AU PAIR Amsterdam will apply for the MVV (entry visa)

  5. We provide support at key moments, such as, just before your au pair arrives in the Netherlands and during their settling-in period. At any other time, you, or your au pair can contact us

If required we can facilitate the required health and liability insurances as well as travel arrangements.
